Terms of Service

What HEIMO is

HEIMO is a tactical companion app for Star Citizen squads. It's a fan project — not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Cloud Imperium Games, Roberts Space Industries, or any other Star Citizen rights holder. Star Citizen, the names of its ships, locations, and other in-game terms are trademarks of their respective owners.

Your account

• You sign in with Discord. Don't share your Discord credentials with anyone.
• You're responsible for activity under your account. If your handle gets used to schedule something dumb, that's on you — even if a squadmate "borrowed" your Discord.
• We can suspend accounts that abuse the platform (spamming notifications, harassing other members, attempting to break into other squads' data, etc.).

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer the app or attempt to bypass authentication / RLS.
• Scrape data belonging to other squads.
• Use HEIMO to harass other Star Citizen players or organizations.
• Submit content that violates someone's rights or applicable law.
• Attempt to overload our infrastructure (excessive automated calls, deliberate denial of service, etc.).

Your content

Operations, briefings, mission notes, and other content you create stays yours. By posting it inside HEIMO you grant us a non-exclusive license to store and display it to your squad members so the app actually functions. We don't use your content for training AI, marketing, or anything outside HEIMO.

Third-party services

When you use features that integrate with third parties (Discord webhooks, Google Calendar sync, UEX data), you're also agreeing to those services' terms. We don't control them and aren't responsible for outages or changes on their side.

No warranty

HEIMO is provided "as is". We try to keep it running and correct, but we don't guarantee it'll always be available, error-free, or that the data is accurate. If UEX prices are stale or wiki data is wrong, that's outside our control.

Liability

To the extent allowed by law, HEIMO's liability for any claim arising from your use of the app is limited to whatever you paid us — which is currently zero, since HEIMO is free.

Termination

You can stop using HEIMO at any time. Email rodriguezp809rd@gmail.com if you want your data deleted (see the Privacy Policy). We can terminate accounts that violate these terms or pose a security risk.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the in-app changelog before taking effect. Continued use after the change means you accept the new version.
